Music for Thriller, Possible ideas.

Although this song was originally used in a film which fell under the horror genre i feel that it is effective for our opening sequence as it creates a great sense of suspense and mystery due to its quite introduction and dramatic build up. We intend to use the song from 1.30 - 3.30 as that fits the two minute length of our title sequence and it allows for the music to build up and then fall again.




The second option that i chose was the main theme of Batman: The Dark Knight. This is a different style of piece to the song above. It creates less suspense but it is more suited to a thriller film and i also felt that it suited the actions that would be taking place in our opening sequence better. However as our thriller has a psychological aspect the erratic sounds of the first piece suit it better so we are yet to decide as a group on which piece we shall be using.#
